You can explore the mp3 downloads, read our practice references, and get a summary of each download before adding them to your cart. Once you proceed through the checkout your download links will be presented to you.

You can listen to your download at your computer or out and about:
1) Play it on your computer through computer speakers
2) Listen on your iPod or MP3 player
3) Burn the file to a CD and play it on your stereo. More info on how to do this below.

Some MP3s listed here are exclusive to spiritualhealth.com.au. Others are posted by yoga teachers who sell their own CDs but are keeping up with the times by distributing their recordings in the MP3 format.

Copyright
The copyright remains owned by the teacher themselves so the files must not be distributed after downloading unless direct consent from the teacher has been given.

Our Quality MP3s
The MP3s on this website are ripped from CD or directly from the digital recording data and are compressed into the highest quality MP3 compression suitable. Every MP3 listed has a table explaining how big the file is and its compression ratio.

About the MP3 format
The MP3 is a compression system for audio. The MP3 format reduces the number of bytes in an audio file without dramatically reducing the files' sonic quality.

The goal of the MP3 format is to compress CD-quality audio by a factor of 10 to 14 without noticably affecting the quality of sound. With MP3, a 270-megabyte(Mb) yoga nidra, on a CD, compresses down to about 27 Mb.
This allows you to download files and store as many as you like on your computer's hard disk or tranfer them to your MP3 player.

Creating an audio CD from MP3s
It is a popular act to buy a yoga instructional CD and use it for years, until it starts too scratch or annoy you. You can use the same listening method with MP3s by converting them to an audio file before burning them to an audio CD you can play in an ordinary CD player.

Try GoldWave to convert your MP3s for an audio CD.

If you need support in doing this contact us and we'll support you through the process of downloading and converting into an audio CD.
